Fresh Basil DOP
Genovese basil is the name of an Italian fruit and vegetable products with a protected designations of origin (DOP).
“ Compagnia del pesto Genovese” uses only fresh basil DOP.
Protected designations of origin (DOP), is a mark of legal protection of the name which is given (usually by law) to those elements whose peculiar quality characteristics depend mainly or exclusively from the territory where they are produced.
