How to preserve
Our pesto is made without preservatives, so it should be always kept in the refrigerator.
Due to the absence of preservatives in the product pesto we apply an expiration date not exceeding 23 days from the date of production.
If the jar is not consumed in its entirety, it is important to keep it this way:
- flatten the surface of the pesto in the jar in a uniform manner
- spread a thin layer of extra virgin olive oil over the surface of the pesto
- carefully close the jar and store in refrigerator
Suggest the possibility of being able to freeze the product for later use. The pesto can be frozen without thereby losing its taste or organoleptic quality.
Who choose this condition note that at the time of use, after thawing, without added preservatives, the product should be consumed in its entirety.
